You're not alone!
We help farmers, ranchers, and rural business owners just like you to master the skills they need to feel confident marketing their small business. Inside of The Workhorse Collective, you'll find hours of pre-recorded teaching, live sessions, and most importantly, a supportive community of likeminded woman to encourage to along the way.
Nice to meet you!
I'm KendallÂ
I'm a farmer, wife, and step-mom of two awesome teenagers, and dog-mom of two mini schnauzers... they might look like the furthest thing from farm dogs, but their can-do attitude more than makes up for it on the farm.
I'll also be your biggest cheerleader. For real, I'll bring the pom-poms!
When I started my farm nearly 10 years ago now, as a first-generation farmer, I fell in love with getting to play a part in helping feed my community. It wasn't long before I was leaving my fancy corporate career for full-time life on the farm.
While I'm still hustling it on the farm, I'm no longer a one-woman show. The business I started now employs a small team of nine including my husband who retired from his company to join me as my business partner on the farm.
Now, there's nothing I love more than getting to support other female farmers in the pursuit of their dreams. I deeply understand the unique challenges that go along with running a farm, having your business be the sole source of income for your family, and trying to do-it-all... psst, I don't think it's actually possible to do it all but we'll get back to that later.
My goal is always to give you the tools you need to overcome the stress and get down to work in building a financially sustainable business for you and your family.Â

I'm so glad you're here!
I'm Jessica
I’m an entrepreneur, a wife, a mother to two rowdy boys, second generation on my family's ranch and a lover of rural small business.
I get how hard it can be to start something in a tiny town, how many challenges there can be to convince your family there’s a different way to do business. I promise I’ll never sugar coat it, and you’ll get the truth from me. Even if it’s hard to hear.Â
I have always loved small town, small businesses, and finding a way to connect with others was difficult when I started. That feeling of isolation that so often comes with this crazy ride. So when I started gathering other women in business, connecting with them, and forging real relationships I discovered my passion!Â
Sharing the experience I’ve gained along the way, teaching others my successes and failures, and bringing together other women drives me every single day. On top of that I juggle full time work, and the challenges that come with working together with my parents. We homeschool our boys, and my husband is a first responder.Â
My goal is to help increase your efficiency, planning, prioritization to make this all manageable. And to help you find some real business friends that you can call to celebrate your biggest wins, and talk through your greatest losses.Â
